*Alliance for the Separation of School & State
The Alliance for the Separation of School & State helps parents and others understand the true nature and the dangers of compulsory state schooling and shows parents and others how they can take back their freedom and ensure a bright future for their children and our country. Through their web site, literature, conferences, speaking engagements, newsletter and volunteers, they spread this message of hope and liberty, and encourage parents to Keep their Children, and encourage others to support parents in this cause.
*American Homeschool Association (AHA)
The American Homeschool Association (AHA) has been serving homeschooling families with advocacy, support, information and networking since 1995. The AHA supports, encourages and promotes all approaches to bona fide homeschooling. Current AHA services include a discussion list and online forum which provides news, information, networking and resources for homeschooling families, support group volunteers, legislators, the media and other advocates of homeschooling.
*Association of HomeSchool Attorneys (AHSA)
AHSA is an informal network of attorneys and legal experts in the United States supporting homeschooling and homeschoolers by providing legal information about homeschooling issues, empowering homeschoolers to have the legal tools they need to meet homeschooling challenges, and providing a network of attorneys for legal representation.
*Home School Legal Defense Association (HSLDA)
Home School Legal Defense Association (HSLDA) is a nonprofit advocacy organization established to defend and advance the constitutional right of parents to direct the education of their children and to protect family freedoms. Through annual memberships, HSLDA is tens of thousands of families united in service together, providing a strong voice when and where needed.
*Homeschool Legal Advantage (HLA)
HLA is an outreach of the Christian Law Association (CLA). The CLA has faithfully served churches and families since 1969, and has successfully defended over 8,000 educational freedom-related cases. The CLA assembled a dedicated team of homeschool parents, homeschool graduates and attorneys to form Homeschool Legal Advantage – a division specifically charged with protecting the rights of homeschoolers, and providing practical advice regarding home education and compliance with homeschool laws. Today, the HLA team includes a large group of full-time attorneys and an additional 200+ affiliated attorneys throughout the United States.
*National Home Education Legal Defense (NHELD)
NHELD, LLC is a national organization open to all who wish to join, that seeks to protect and defend the rights of families who wish to educate in freedom.
*National Home Education Research Institute (NHERI)
National Home Education Research Institute (NHERI) conducts and collects research about homeschooling (home-based education, home schooling), and publishes the research journal called the Home School Researcher.
Alaska Private and Home Educators Association (APHEA)
The Alaska Private and Home Educators Association (APHEA) is a membership-based coalition of parents and others who have banded together for the furtherance of educational excellence through alternatives to the government-operated public schools.
Arizona Families for Home Education (AFHE)
Arizona Families for Home Education (AFHE) is a statewide organization that serves the needs and protects the rights of Arizona's homeschooling families. AFHE is a non-profit educational corporation directed by a Christian Board. AFHE membership is open to all homeschooling parents in Arizona.
California Homeschool Network (CHN)
California Homeschool Network (CHN) is an inclusive organization of energetic and dedicated homeschooling families working to preserve our own educational freedom. CHN monitors and responds to legislation which may pose a threat to homeschooling. They also inform and empower homeschooling families, educate the public, and foster community among home educators in the state of California.
Christian Association of Parent Educators of New Mexico (CAPE-NM)
CAPE-NM is a non-profit membership organization serving New Mexico's home educators and support groups with information, encouragement, and support. They maintain an active presence with the NM Public Education Department and with the state legislature monitoring laws, rules, and policies that affect home education and parental rights. CAPE-NM offers an Education Resource Center and Lending Library, a Quarterly Magazine, and an annual convention and curriculum fair.
Christian Home Education Fellowship (CHEF)
Christian Home Education Fellowship (CHEF) of Alabama exists to promote and encourage Christian home education for the glory of God. Whether you are thinking about homeschooling, just beginning homeschooling, or are a veteran homeschooler, CHEF exists to encourage, inspire, and equip you.
Christian Home Educators Association of California, Inc. (CHEA)
The Christian Home Educators Association of California, Inc. is a non-profit ministry established in 1982 to provide information, support, and training to the home education community throughout the state.
Christian Home Educators Fellowship (CHEF) of Louisiana
The Christian Home Educators Fellowship (CHEF) of Louisiana is a Christian organization comprised of Christian home school support groups from around the state. This gives CHEF of Louisiana an effective membership of hundreds of families without competing with local support groups for memberships. The unique relationship CHEF of Louisiana has with local support groups offers each home school family the comprehensive, unified and affordable support it needs at local and state levels.
Christian Home Educators Fellowship (CHEF) of Oklahoma
The Christian Home Educators Fellowship (CHEF) of Oklahoma is dedicated to the support of families who believe God has called them to an active role in the education of their children. CHEF of Oklahoma is a support and service organization for home educating families throughout the state of Oklahoma. CHEF was formed in 1986 and became a statewide organization in 1995. Christian Home Educators of Colorado (CHEC)
Christian Home Educators of Colorado (CHEC) is a non-profit, Christian organization dedicated to providing information, resources and leadership to all families involved in home-centered education. They offer an annual state conference, homeschool introductory seminars, curriculum fairs, their own Independent School, and more.
Christian Home Educators of Kentucky (CHEK)
Christian Home Educators of Kentucky (CHEK) is a statewide homeschooling educational and informational organization established to assist families who choose to educate their children according to the dictates of their conscience and their fundamental rights as parents. CHEK's goal is to better equip homeschoolers with the necessary skills, tools, and information to successfully fulfill their convictions and the God-mandated responsibility to train and educate their children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.
Christian Home Educators of New Hampshire (CHENH)
Christian Home Educators of New Hampshire (CheNH) serves and supports Christian home educators. CheNH is a statewide organization that actively tries to keep State regulation to a minimum.
Christian Home Educators of Ohio (CHEO)
Christian Home Educators of Ohio (CHEO) is a non-profit state organization founded to serve the homeschool families of Ohio and to provide them with the tools to succeed. CHEO seeks to preserve the God-given, constitutional right to home educate, and to support and encourage families in fulfilling this Biblical responsibility.
Christian Home Educators of West Virginia (CHEWV)
Christian Home Educators of West Virginia (CHEWV) was formed to minister to evangelical Christian homeschoolers in West Virginia. They sponsor an annual conference, a graduation ceremony, testing services, and Home Schooler’s Day at the Legislature.
