Academy of Biblical Character Development (ABCD) is registered as a private school with the State of Florida and is accredited with the Florida Council of Private Schools (FCPS). ABCD operates within Marion County only. Their teachers are the parents and your classrooms are your homes. ABCD enrolls students from Kindergarten through grade 12. They offer support, accountability/testing, and a resource room.
Alderwood Academy is a K-12 non-campus private umbrella school, established to give the homeschool community the advantage of private school enrollment while maintaining the curricular freedom inherent in homeschooling.
Alternative Choices in Education Academy, Inc. (ACEA) is a private school designed for home educated students grades K-12. They provide an "umbrella" to members in all counties within the state of Florida. For non-Florida residents, parents assume responsibility for compliance with their state requirements.

Central Christian Academy is classified as a private school for grades 1-12 with the Florida Department of Education. They function as a private Christian school, assisting parents who are involved in teaching their children in classrooms at home in Florida and across the USA. Their services include the maintenance of permanent transcripts, counsel to parents on how to instruct student, and monitoring of student progress.
Crossroads Christian School is a private, non-profit school located in Florida and is fully recognized by the Florida Department of Education. Crossroads provides accountability, support, curriculum counseling, transfer of records, maintenance of transcripts, identification cards, semester or annual report cards, accredited high school diploma, and more.
Florida Family Learning Academy (FFLA) was founded in 2005 as a non-religious private school to serve homeschoolers throughout Florida. FFLA is affiliated with Florida Virtual School, and FFLA students are eligible for Bright Futures scholarships. Parents are responsible for all record-keeping. Registration fee includes enrollment confirmation letter when required, but not grades or transcripts. Cost of notarizing documents to be paid by parent or guardian. Grades, transcripts and diplomas are available for high school students for an additional fee.
Adam's Academy, Inc. is a home-based private school that supports parents of special needs children as they endeavor to take on the role of parent-teacher in educating their special learner. They submit required records to Tallahassee that include enrollment numbers, ages of students, and services provided to them. Their teachers are the parent's of the children enrolled. The parent-teacher instructs within the home, they provide direction to the parent-teachers and accountability to the state, instead of the parent-teacher.
Allendale Academy is a nationwide and international virtual private school which believes that the education of children is the God-given right and responsibility of their parents. Allendale Academy is dedicated and equipped to assist parents nationwide in educating their children in the most supportive environment, the home. Allendale Academy is registered with the Florida Department of Education as a private school, and is registered with the College Board, the NCAA, Bright Futures, FLVS and the FPEA.
The Alternative Education Institute (AEI) is a DOE recognized non-profit private school in the state of Florida. AEI meets the statutes for high school students wishing to dual-enroll and enrollment in AEI legally meets the compulsory attendance laws of Florida. Their office is located in Broward County.

Florida Unschoolers is a free (yes, really) private umbrella school for unschoolers and other homeschoolers in Florida. It is listed at the Florida Department of Education website in the Directory of Private Schools under Martin County. There are no fees or tuition for Florida Unschoolers.
