Christian Home Educated Tampa Teens

Christian Home Educated Tampa Teens (CHETT) is specifically for Christian (all denominations) tweens and teens ages 10 and up.  Activities include movie nights, game nights, holiday parties, pizza lunches, pool parties, tours and educational field trips geared for this age group, and mom's nights out. Parents are stongly encouraged to help plan and host events. If there are younger siblings, they are most welcome, but please supervise them as the teens will not- this group is for THEM. Parents can socialize, jump in the activities, and discuss the rewards and challenges of homeschooling middle and high schoolers. No membership dues or mandatory meetings. Costs will vary depending on event. (Hillsborough)

Christian Home Educators Association

Christian Home Educators Association (C.H.E.A.) is a Christian support group offering activities, opportunities, fellowship, support, and encouragement for homeschooling families. Informational meetings are offered to our members at least twice a year. The organization is based upon volunteer officers, sub-group leaders who serve on a steering committee for guidance and accountability, and member families who volunteer to help plan activities and events.  (Marion)

Christian Home Educators Association of Collier County

Christian Home Educators Association of Collier County (CHEACC) was established upon basic Christian values and principles found in the authoritative Word of God. Their purpose is to provide information, support, and encouragement to local Christian home school families. CHEACC meets the third Monday of each month at the Center Point Community Church in Naples. Some meetings feature guest speakers, and others focus on topics for small group discussions. Child care is available and visitors are welcome at all meetings. (Collier)

Christian Home Educators Fellowship of Florida

Christian Home Educators Fellowship of Florida (CHEFF) provides homeschool families with information, encouragement, and Christian relationships. The coordinators, along with the members, plan and organize activities for the year, including field trips, park days, sports days, Mom 2 Mom, Dad 2 Dad, community service. The coordinators are supported and advised by a few homeschooling mothers who have an abundance of experience and wisdom. They are not a denomination specific group, however they are all followers of Christ and expect everyone to respect the differences of other families. (Highlands, Hardee)
