Open Source Resources - Free (as in speech)

Here are links to free, downloadable open source books, movies, and music, as well as links to open source curriculum and online courses offered by top colleges around the United States.  Some of these links are not homeschool related, but we've included them here because we feel you might find them useful.  If you are unfamiliar with this freedom, you will find some links below that explain just what open source is.

Wikibooks is an open-content textbooks collection that anyone can edit. Wikibooks is for textbooks, annotated texts, instructional guides, and manuals. These materials can be used in a traditional classroom, an accredited or respected institution, a home-school environment, as part of a Wikiversity course or for self-learning.
The aim of Wikijunior is to produce non-fiction books for children from birth to age twelve. These books could take the form of macropedias, textbooks, or primers. Wikijunior is a source of books for children written by an international community of volunteers.
