On April 15th 2011, the Junior Museum of Bay County officially became the Science & Discovery Center of Northwest Florida. Dedicated to promoting Science, Technology, engineering and Math (STEM) based programming, the Science and Discovery Center's new mission is to educate and inspire children and adults through hands-on, interactive exhibits and programs that promote discovery of science, technology, and history.
