What to Expect at Your Evaluation

When I left full time teaching to begin the homeschooling journey, it was initially terrifying! That feeling has given me compassion and understanding for new and established families as we seek to educate our children. As a parent, I value the individual needs of children in my own home, and I bring that same respect for each family I work with. An evaluation starts with reassuring families that I am here to help, not judge their homeschooling style regardless of whether they are schooling for 8 hours a day or are unschooling. I am willing to have conversations and establish a professional relationship as we work together over the years. After initial contact, I work with families to figure out the best way to show work samples (workbook pages, videos or photos for unschoolers, etc.). Once I see the samples, I will email a signed evaluation form and you can send payment!
