This is a directory of private schools, also known as umbrella schools, offering enrollment services to help you comply with Florida's compulsory school attendance laws (s. 1002.20). If you enroll your child in an umbrella school, you do not need to file a notice of intent to establish a home education program with your district school. To learn how enrolling your child in an umbrella school compares to establishing a home education program, take a look at our comparison chart. Note that Florida private schools are not regulated by the state, but each school is required to submit an annual survey to be included in the Florida Private Schools Directory.
